How do we get such impressive results?
Over the years I have been able to continually improve how I teach students.
The secret is simple, the more students practise the more they improve.
It takes a lot of practise to develop the necessary muscle memory, speed & accuracy.
Hence success has a LOT to do with the student’s motivation.
Students developing intrinsic motivation is key
Student motivation
The group dynamic of the course is highly motivational. While I do teach on a one-to-one basis, I recommend children attend a group course as most learn better in a group environment.
We help students develop their own intrinsic motivation by teaching every student exactly how they can get better marks when they type. This reduces the need for parental reminders (nagging) thus helping maintain family harmony.
Students are prompted to practise and praise using group and individual WhatsApp messages.
Multiple different typing packages and fun games are used to encourage practise.
We have weekly prizes of Amazon vouchers which help motivate students
Parents are often amazed at how much their children enjoy the course.
Check out the parent reviews and student feedback.
Partnership with parents
The second factor for success is parental involvement.
The course is a collaboration with parents. Being a parent of three dyslexic children I understand first-hand how critical parent support is.
Students and parents are informed regularly of progress.
Giving parents the opportunity to provide additional support and motivation as required.
